The project was a challenge considering the sloping site. We took advantage of the site conditions to derive a site-specific master plan for the layout. The layout consists of total 24 units including eight independent bungalows and sixteen twin houses planned around a central open space with swimming pool and common garden.
Each bungalow is so located that it gets a panoramic view of the valley on one side and the plateau on the other. The units are designed to suit the ‘Panchgani’ town character and weather, with spacious verandahs at ground and first floor level and a large garden around each bungalow. The plot sizes are 800 sq.m. for bungalow and 400 sq. m. for a twin house.
