The site is located near Shivaji statue in the most verdant belt of Kothrud.
The plot is a D.P. reservation for E.W.S. surrounded by all other reservations like school reservation on north side and proving ground reservation on south side, almost eating out all the frontage of the plot from roadside. The plot was initially covered with thick plantation all over and two big wells too. It was really a challenge to allocate the space for building, so that minimum trees could be cut and others to be transplanted creating a big green open space.
The main design approach to face all the above challenges was, creating a big open space in the center of the plot, where we transplanted all the trees coming up in locations, where buildings were planned, so that all the buildings were facing towards a big green landscaped area having a picturesque view.
The scheme comprises of three residential buildings of eleven storied, having apartment types as one, two and three BHK. All the flats have big terraces attached to living/dining and bedrooms. It also has a small building of about seventy EWS units.
The central recreational space houses the existing well, a well-equipped modern club house, a swimming pool and a large green expanse of lawn with a walk-way all along the periphery. The badminton and basketball courts are also accommodated for the recreation of the residents.
The smart, modern elevation with rooftop pergola is an eye-catching view, but at the same time exhibiting the simplicity of a modern era.
