The Reptile Park at Rajiv Gandhi Zoo at Katraj is a unique project spread over five acres. AVA is entrusted this project by the Pune Municipal Corporation. We presented the concepts to the Central Zoo Authority at Delhi. The officers appreciated our work and gave us the nod.
The reptile park will include enclosures for all types of reptiles such as snakes, crocodiles, lizards, gharials, tortoises, turtles and terrapins.
It has an entrance foyer, a chelonia, animal breeding house, head animal keeper’s office, and a reptile nursery. The sloping terrain is used to advantage public pathways, service pathways, water bodies, green enclosures, benches and kiosks on the way and water fountains are designed to complete the experience of a guided tour.
