PSCL had entrusted AVA to design a customized bungalow for Anant Padmanabhan, a high-profile person in an I.T. company, we interacted with him and his wife to understand their vision of a week-end house. They felt that the house should be designed in such a way that after some years, it could be divided into two separate houses, while they shared a common garden and swimming pool. The architectural language would have to match the style of the township. The result of the completed project pleased the couple.
The landscaping is worked out in collaboration with landscape architect Vikas & Nilima Bhosekar. The bungalow is placed at the south side of the plot while the swimming pool is placed on the north side at a lower level, as the site a slope and the landscaping is planned in terraces. We have two bedrooms, a study, living, dining and kitchen at the ground level. The first floor has two more bedrooms with a large entertainment /family room. The bedrooms have large terraces attached for plants as the owner is fond of flowering plants.
