The PMC entrusted AVA with this project after holding a competition. The concept of a non-typical looking hospital appealed to the Commissioner. We have introduced colours in facade of the building by providing colorful louvres. Taking advantage of the slope of site, one and a half floor of parking is provided. The narrow frontage is used for emergency wing and the medical shop.
The hospital entry is provided from the side. Basement plus three floors are proposed. The hospital consists of 50 beds accommodated in private room, semi-private rooms and general wards, and two operation theatres, human welfare clinic, pediatric clinic, sonography, x-ray and labs for blood tests, NICU are also provided in addition to maternity facilities. In addition, doctors’ lounge, residential facility for doctors, nurses and relatives of in-patients is also proposed.
