Green City at Handewadi is an ambitious 16 acres project by Arihant Venkateshwara Housing. Although the shape of the plot is odd, it has an advantage of three roads on the north. The plot is divided into five parts.: amenity plot 1, amenity plot 2, bungalow cluster plot, apartments cluster phase 1 and apartment cluster phase 2.
AVA studied the potential of the plot and existing vegetation and contours. There were many existing trees in on part so we chose that part for the bungalow(gated) cluster and retained every tree.
In the apartment clusters, the trees were along the periphery, thus we did not cut a single tree on site and planted many more. All the services and infrastructure is well planned and executed.
All the three approach roads to the site are connected to each other by internal roads, with a central plaza at the junction. The clubhouse is located here within the central open space, adjoining the plaza. A very effective and aesthetically pleasing residential complex, the residents are very happy.
