This is a software consultant's home! When a highly placed software consultant decided to make Pune his home, he wanted a home in the heart of Pune on Deccan Gymkhana. The client wanted a spacious and functional bungalow with a traditional & simple look. The job was to be completed with elegant interiors.
We have designed the bungalow in totality: The structure, the landscaping & the interiors. A simple form is adopted with a uniform colour scheme to portray a simple image of the owner.
A central core comprising of lift & staircase. A formal living and dining with a modern kitchen and a small guest room are on the ground floor. All bedrooms are placed on the first floor with adequate natural light & cross ventilation.
The second floor accommodates the music room, Gym & Jacuzzi room and a terrace for openness. There is a basement den working as office. The interior spaces follow simple lines & soothing colour scheme. An extremely elegant use of materials and an interesting lighting system creates an ambience, has made our client happy. The dining room overlooks a water body in the adjoining garden. Detailing of entrance door, staircase railing and staircase window is done to give uniqueness and that different touch to the bungalow.
