The Blue Ridge Township office is respectful of its location at the entrance of Blue Ridge, close to Hinjewadi Phase 1 IT park. In its form, massing and materials, of the new building will endure and improve the surrounding public realm.
Its striking façade is defined by a structural glazing frame, with a series of masses that soften into tiered terraces as one approaches the building. The vertical glazing gives the building a visual hierarchy and rhythm as they vary in pitch across each façade according to orientation, while being an integral part of the building’s natural lighting and ventilation system.
The main entrance to Bloomberg is defined by a curved ramp that leads up to it. Arriving at the main entrance, everyone passes through the reception lobby before being drawn into the tall curved corridor – a dramatic space that creates surprise as one walks through it leading to the lobby on the other side.
The lounge on the ground floor offers a view of the adjacent Special Economic Zone and the surrounding landscape. The reception and offices on the ground floor house the sales staff that are ready to welcome any prospective client to the township.
The notion of teamwork and collaboration flows into the desking systems and layout of each floor allowing for privacy, personalization, wellbeing and collaborative working. The oval shaped offices offer views of the main access road of the township.
